Where My Dogs At?!?!

Where my dogs at!? Now if you are a DMX fan you already know what the next line is. I sat for the past 2 hours and watch a piece of my youth is laid to rest. Born Earl Simmons DMX was in my opinion the cornerstone of rap. CEO of the world-known Ruff Ryders passed away on April 9 after being hospitalized for an apparent drug overdosed and heart attack. His services on Saturday and Sunday included his crimson casket being carried on the back of a huge mister truck with scores of motorcyclists mostly consisting of Ruff Ryders lead the rap legend to Barclays arena. The ceremony was closed to the public due to Covid-19. Brooklyn was literally shut down while the famed rapper made his last ride. Many came out to share how DMX touched their life. Rappers in their own right Styles P, Jadakiss, Swiss Beats, Eve, and Nas to name a few. A couple of the most profound moments were DMX 15 Kids taking the stage all saying in their own words what their father meant to them. Kayne West choir performed. There was so much love being shown for a man that left an imprint on everyone he came in contact with. The rap world has lost an Icon. There will never be another DMX. So throw the X up one more time and keep him alive through his music and his movies.
