The Darkest Minds

The Darkest Minds starring Amanda Stenberg (The Hate You Give), Harris Dickinson (Maleficent: Mistress of Evil), Mandy Moore (Tangled) and Skylan Brooks (Mister & Pete) is about "Imprisoned by an adult world that now fears everyone under 18, a group of teens form a resistance group to fight back and reclaim control of their future" (insert from IMDB )
My mother and Bumblebee could not recall that we had seen this movie before, so I watched it twice. So I was cool with it and plus Amanda Stenberg is one of my favorite actresses.
Watching this film you can take a lot away from it. From racism to COVID-19 and the election, there is so much happening in the world. The Darkest Minds will show you that no matter how different we are from one another we are all family.
Ruby Daly (Amanda Stenberg) and Liam (Harris Dickson) teach us how to not let the enemy divide us. The film breaks the teens up by colors Red, Orange, Green, Blue and Yellow. Which is no different from Black (African American), White (Caucasian), and Spanish (Latinos).

I can break down every scene and give you all the juicy details but that will defeat the purpose of me wanting you to watch and see it. I watched it on Hulu but I'm pretty sure you can find it on demand, and for those that have the Fire Stick you have no excuse.
Add The Darkest Minds to your Movie Watch List and come back and tell me your thoughts.
